Rejoice and Be Glad!???

Matthew 5:1-12

I.  Suffering on account of Jesus sets us apart in this world. 

 

 

II.  Our command is contrary to this world’s philosophy.

 

 

III.  Our reward is as great as the prophets with whom we identify.

 

 

Am I more tempted to be people pleaser or identifier with Jesus?

 

Have I truly counted the cost of being a disciple (learner) of Jesus?

 

Am I rejoicing in suffering as I look to the reward set before me?
